Moville Pottery

Moville Pottery was founded in 1976 by Lowry Wasson.  Lowry previously trained at the Belfast College of Art & subsequently worked as an apprentice to the Finnish potter Agi Fiel, one of the most highly skilled hand throwers in Europe.  The backdrop of Donegal’s Inishowen Peninsula provides a ready stock of shapes, colours & textures to draw inspiration from.  The ranges of bright, colourful, intriguing glazes used are truly stunning & also very hard wearing.  The pottery now employs between 3 & 5 people in the workshop.  This small band of dedicated crafts people ensure the pots are produced to a very high quality.
